HELP!

There is a lot that needs worked on for this site to get off the ground. Any help or support would be greatly appreciated! I am unable to pay but I can certainly skill swap: graphic design, audio engineering and/or producing, play music on one of your projects, advertising on the site, etc.

Ways to help

Tedious Coding

This one is a biggie. For the beta of this project I am looking at adding almost 200 venues with around 1,600 shows and a few hundred of bands to the site. Currently I am the only person working on this. And for now I am plugging away line by line. I have a spreadsheet and site page templates.

An Actual Coder

Atlas Musica is being made from the ground up. I'm not using a site like square or wordpress and basing this off of a template (though i am heavily inspired by www.dodiy.org). This is also the first website I've worked on. The aesthetic is intentional but benefits from it's simplicity. That being said, I know there's a ton of things that need to be done to the site that I don't have the skill set to perform. I am currently learning this stuff but it would be SUPER helpful talk to someone who knows how to make a website.

I am looking for someone with experience to either help either code themselves or walk me through some of the more difficult facets of designing Atlas Musica. I am also looking for someone who can look at potential security issues and help to rectify them.

Research

There's a ton of information that needs inputted into the Beta site but there's even more information missing. Pictures take up a large portion of that information. Several folks including myself have unearthed flyers, general show information and local bands info. I need someone to help fill the gaps.

Duties would mainly conist of scouring the web for:

  • band/venue/show info (pics, missing data, music, etc.)
  • relevant links (facebook/ event pages, bandcamp/ online music, online articles, videos, etc.)
